Giving birth can be a very demanding physical event and transforms a woman’s life in profound and often unexpected ways. Yoga can give you much needed support during this time of changing responsibilities. It can help you to relax to help conserve your energy drained by lack of sleep; it can help you to become closer to your baby and will quickly increase your overall feelings of health and fitness. You will grow stronger, more confident, and feel better able to nurture your baby as well as the other members of your family.
This postnatal session has been specially designed to address your needs as a new mother. It takes you gently through the first few days or weeks as a new mum and addresses:
- Realignment
- (Re)learning to be on your back and stomach
- Postural awareness during baby's feeding
- Relaxation and Breathing techniques
- Pelvic strength and long-term pelvic health
